Drying out flowers?

Hey there, so my boyfriend gave me two roses last night, since it was our 1 month anniversary. (: And i want to dry them, how do i go about doing this?

Drying out flowers?
If you want to preserve them as close to fresh-looking as you can, the best way is to buy a can/box of flower drying crystals. You gently bury them in the dehydrating crystals for several days, or a couple weeks and they will be as close as you can get to fresh while being dried %26amp; preserved -- they won't close up like with regular drying.

My daughter preserved her first prom corsage this way and after 12 years it's still gorgeous :)

You can find these at some floral shops, or in the craft section of stores like walmart, ben franklin, jo-annes, etc.
Reply:I usually dry my flowers by hanging them upside down in a well ventilated area.

With them hanging upside down the bloom will dry closed up instead of falling apart in the upright position as it dries.

I usually just hang them from the ceiling in our garage.

After they dry you can put them back in a vase for a pretty dry arrangement.

If you received baby breaths with them, they dry nicely too.
Reply:let them dry out by themselves don't put them in water
