I purchased %26amp; repotted snapdragons that were in bloom; the blossoms dried out %26amp; there are new buds developing but not yet blooming. do I need to dead-head the dried blossoms?
Do snapdragon flowers need to be dead-headed like roses %26amp; other flowers?
Well you dont have to but I would go ahead and do it. I live in the desert southwest and snap dragons will winter over here, but they also will self seed. I love them ! Enjoy your beautiful flowers.
Reply:Snapdragons are my favorite flower. We used to have them growing in our gardens. We never had to dead-head the dried blossoms. We just let them grow naturally, and they always looked beautiful.
