HELP, what is the best way to dry rose pedals??

i have some perfum roses that i want to dry the flowers

HELP, what is the best way to dry rose pedals??
Hang it upside down till it dries. It should be still on its stem though.





Petals by themselves cannot be dried. They wilt and start to mildew and give bad smell.





What perfume makers do is to gently extract it when it is fresh - slow cook - and distill the water. But you need a lot of those petals, I means a LOT to do that.





Hanging it upside down only preserves it dry but you cannot get the perfumes that you so badly want.
Reply:If the rose is still whole, simply hang them up side down and wait for them to dry. Try using the shower rod in the bathroom to hang them on and tie yarn/string to the stem of the flower
Reply:place the flower gently between two bits of brown paper then place that between the pages of a book and close. leave for a couple of days then check. it might need a couple of more days.
