What was the worst Christmas gift you ever rec'd?

My stepmom gave me a dry flower wreath in a box not even wrapped when I was 18. I was so offended I got up and left her and my fathers house. Now, my younger half-sister 18 gets iPods and laptops, a college education and apt in the city..life just ain't fair!

What was the worst Christmas gift you ever rec'd?
pads
Reply:Can't answer that one, I'm Jewish.
Reply:Besides nothing,a hamburger press.Totally useless gadget.I do understand about the wreath this is alittle different but my sister asks me to make her a large crochet angel because I used to make these and sell for $10.00 to $15.00 depending on size for Christmas money. So I did, took it with her present to her house which we were all invited for Christmas dinner, others came also so small crowd she told everyone I only gave her the angel because I was too cheap to get her a gift.Needless to say I never gave her anything else, just a card now.It was alot of work and I could of sold that one several times as it was done special in her colors and all.So yes I can symphonize with you.God bless you and a Merry Christmas to you!
Reply:The 1st Barbie Doll ever made! I was 8 years old, and wanted a Baby Doll!
Reply:My ex boyfriend of 6 years continually came up short year after year for Christmas, my birthdays, valentines day etc. It was hurtful that he wasn't excited to get me, the woman he "loves" even the smallest little thing. That is one reason of many that he is now my ex.
Reply:a yu-gi-oh bag and im not even a boyish girl
Reply:This wooden thing(after 13 years still don't know what it is) I got when I was 14 from my cousin, even he doesn't know what it is.
Reply:Socks...I didn't mind getting practical things when growing up like clothes or new shoes, but for some reason opening socks every year really annoyed the hell out of me. Now when my Mom realized it bugged me, and started putting them in our stockings, I didn't seem to mind so much.
Reply:My sister gave us cheap $2 crap one year. Her husband boasted to another sister that they did all their shopping in the last half hour before the shops shut on Christmas Eve, she just said to him "yep and it shows".

What really offended me was that a couple of weeks before she had sought me out to tell me that she was planning on spending $25 each on our presents - making me feel guilty because I hadn't planned on spending that much and raced out to buy extra. The next year I gave them gifts and received nothing. She told me that they couldn't afford to buy gifts this year so didn't want to get gifts but she told me on BOXING DAY!
Reply:When I was 17 my step-grandmother who had never been a part of my life (I guess because I wasn't grand-daughter by blood) tried to make up for it by getting me a Barbie diary (only because she wanted so be a part of my little brothers life, who had just been born and is a blood grand-child, and she knew my parents wouldn't tolerate her getting my brother something while not giving me anything). I guess she assumed I was still 5, since that was the last time I had seen her.
Reply:i once got a wrapped box and when i opened it it was a bill of all the money i owed this person for the year.
Reply:a bright red sweatsuit too small........................while my cousins recieved cash from my step-grandmother ..........old hag
Reply:stamps and a stamp holder from my grandma. oh boy
Reply:hmm..probably those chocolate covered oranges? i hate those. and my mom pretty much doesn't buy anything that i dont ask for, because if i dont like it she has to take it back.
Reply:I don't know if these qualify as a particularly bad Christmas gifts but I got these both the same year:

I had asked for the Chicago's greatest hits CD and my mother bought me Alabama's greatest hits. Later in the day, a friend gave me this heinous mini-houndstooth print neon pink turtleneck that I cut up and used as a dust rag.
