Criticisms of my photographic work?

I love taking photos of flowers. I realize the difficulty because of how overused flowers are, so I tried to shake it up a bit. Comments of any nature concerning any, all, or your favorites would be greatly appreciated.

Criticisms of my photographic work?
Number 1, 2 and 5 are my favorites. I do alot of landscape and nature photography which often includes flowers as well. I can understand your interest in taking a different perspective.

I do so enjoy the fact that you did opt to make some black and white. It gives a whole different perspective.

I also appreciate your use of blurred backgrounds to keep the focus on the primary subject. I'm guess you used a combination of a very low F number and quite a bit of zoom. It also looks as if you are a fan of the rule of 3/4.

Good job.
Reply:Freaking beautiful , i think you and i both share the same perspective when it comes to photography. Keep up the good work. I love #4
Reply:I like the first two.
Reply:Most of them all all right the first blavk and white one is amazing but anyway they are pretty good I think for some of them i would change the lighting and the angle in which u took the picture.
Reply:Absolutely beautiful! Love them all, especially the Lily.
Reply:They are quite beautiful except #7 %26amp; 8--in my humble opinion.

I like the focus on the stamens in the first one very much!

BTW--the purple flowers are called "liatris".
Reply:1 %26amp; 5 are my favorites. You have talent.

(Judged based on first glimpse impression.)
Reply:I also like to take pictures of flowers. Yours are fantastic. I really think you have talent! I love #1. Great job!
Reply:wow you made some great images. the color in the images are inspired.

try a flash on the underbelly of the plants, i have always found it pops them more. a handheld one...of course.

it is a very postmodernist thing to put the foreground of the image out of focus...so when people mention something about this, ask yourself if they are following the modernist or postmodernist rules. critic the critic. basically dont let them tell you its wrong if they are in a modernist mind frame.
