I am trying to dry some flowers to keep what do I do to stop them falling apart ? Can you help.?
If they have stems, you can hang them up-side-down until they dry out. There is a spray you can get at hobby shops to spray them with to help them stay together. Or, you can press them in a big book between sheets of wax paper if you want them flat.





I have also heard about the microwave way, but have never tried it.
Reply:don't put them in water at all otherwise they won't dry out. you cant stop them from being brittle so once they are dry just be careful with them!
Reply:PAT is dry. go VERY easy on the petals. use a soft tissue for the stem then use dry hands carefully for the petals. for each petal pat it with ur weakest fingers

but I don`t know for how long or any other details you could try a sample of one stalk?? to see what happens ??? but keep your eye on them?.
