How do i dry flowers? I have roses and catalilies?

if u like to preserve their natural shape, try drying in sand. also, there's special florist drying crystals that will wick out moisture more quicker then sand, thus preserving the shape and color better.

I usually hang them upside down and as they dry I will spray a light spray of Aqua Net hairspray (a couple times throughout drying) this helps them from getting brittle.
Reply:Hang them upside down
Reply:Craft stores have the product to dry them in. I believe it is Glycerin, silica. But I know you can tie them in bunches (not to big)

Hang them in a dark place (so the color will not sun fade) on the necks of hangers or nails . It think it takes a while.

I just Googled drying flowers and looked at the Clemson education site. They have a lot of information on this.

With many inexpensive ways to accomplish it.

Good Luck.
Reply:i put the flowers in a book
Reply:hanging them upside down is the easiest way.
Reply:hang them upside down in a cool dry place. i usually get a hanger and tie the stems to it and hang them in the closet. works like a charm and they keep their color.
