i have bunches of flowers that are already dried, but i have to move them, how do i do this without them falling apart, the last bunch i tried to move, all the pedals fell out..help?
What is the best way to perserve dried flowers?
I got this pretty antique looking hat box and put some tissue paper in the bottom, and when I dry out flowers I hang them upside down using a safety pin to poke them at the very end of the stems into the wall over my dresser and when they are dried out I pull on the part of the safety pin that's not in the wall and its like a makeshift handle so you don't damage the fragile flowers.Lay the flowers CAREFULLY into the box with tissue lining then either close the safety pin or pull it out of the end of the stem, fold the tissue paper over the dead beauties and put the lid on.Later if you want to display them, put the box on a nice table, take the lid half off and partially open the tissue paper and enjoy!
Reply:find a box big enough to enclose the entire bouquet or bunch of flowers. cut it out so that it's lengthwise (cut it open on its longest end) get some wire or string and tie it to the end of the bunch of flowers and with your box open, punch a hole in the top and feed the string through and tie. should just dangle in there if done right. then move real slow and leave it where you want
Reply:you can freese them wrapped in silofain
